Acela is high-speed rail by U.S. standards — up to about 150 mph on parts of the corridor — with Business and First class only. Stations sit downtown (Moynihan in New York, Union Station in D.C.). We do not sell Acela tickets.
Why people take it
You skip TSA and airport transfers. Wi-Fi, at-seat power and wider seats make the ride usable as work time. First class adds a meal service on many departures.
When to fly instead
If you are connecting beyond the corridor — say Boston to Miami the same day — a flight from BOS, JFK or DCA is usually simpler. Search those airports above.
